Straumann® AXS is a cloud-based platform at the core of the Straumann® integrated digital ecosystem. It provides a modular, open, and secure environment that enables seamless dental treatment workflows and enhances the overall customer experience.

Regions 🌎

AXS operates globally across the following business regions. Each region is supported by dedicated hosting infrastructure to ensure performance, compliance, and data residency requirements.

• NAM (North America)
  Hosted on infrastructure located in the United States or Canada.
• EMEA (Europe Middle-East Africa)
  Hosted on infrastructure located in Europe.
• APAC (Asia Pacific)
  Hosted on infrastructure located in Singapore.

Depending on the region(s) where your customers operate, you must integrate with the corresponding AXS portals and APIs. Regional endpoints and access details will be provided in the relevant sections of the documentation.

Environments 🧪

Straumann® AXS provides two environments to support development, testing, and production use:

Production (PRD) 🚀

• This environment is intended for live operations
• Processes real and billable orders
• Supports active AXS users
• Can host real patient data

Pre-Production (PPR) 🧪

• This environment is intended for development and testing purposes
• Used to build and validate integrations
• Does not process real orders
• Must not be used to store or process patient data
